Kid Politics
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This was a test game to see if I could build a relatively complex socioeconomic game using artificial intelligence. It is highly influenced by the game Neighborhood Conflict, but with a few unique ideas.
GAMEPLAY
- manage a random kid and attempt to get the most USD possible while considering their unique attributes
- purchase properties and receive rent payments
- befriend other kids for better business deals and assistance in combat
- some kids control countries and issue currency
- some kids are able to engage in theft
KNOWN ISSUES
- small amounts of USD sometimes disappear from treasury
- turns sometimes need to be manually continued
